Safety Management Systems

Summary:

Safety Management Systems conducts the Incident Command System training at Cal-State University Fullerton. SMS utilizes the NIMS ICS. The ICS is documented by FEMA - a branch of Homeland Security and required by OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulations 29 CFR 1910.120 and Cal-OSHA’s Title 8, 5192.

This certificate meets and exceeds OSHA requirements. The course is required for senior emergency response officials who have ultimate site control responsibilities. The ICS is required in the event of a hazardous materials incident.

IC: Requires 24 hrs of total training. Class is 1-day for FRO responders or equivalent. Class is 3-days for beginners. (Call for Details).
