Safety Management Systems
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions in the State of California - Safety Management Systems has developed two Online Hybrid course
- HAZWOPER Refresher: $100
- RCRA / DOT HAZMAT: $275
Online Hybrid Training consists of:
- Reading the student booklets and 2020 ERG: Students will be mailed hard copies of the training manuals pertaining to their course including the new 2020 Emergency Guidebook to complete reading assignments.
- Completing an assignment handout: Students will be emailed a 16 page pdf assignment quiz handout. Students will complete assignments on the handout by reading the books provided, watching online videos, and answering quiz questions based on the videos and reading assignments.
- Question / Answer Session: Students may schedule time with an instructor for any questions regarding class materials.

After student registers for class:
- Student(s) or person who registered for class will receive an email within 24 hours after registration. The email will include the 16-page quiz handout and instructions on how to complete the course.
- A package consisting of the student manual and 2020 ERG book will be mailed to the address provided on the registration. Student should receive the books within a week after registration.
- Note: Students may begin the quiz handout immediately after receiving the email. Students do not have to wait for the books to begin the course. Students can begin watching the videos and answering questions regarding the videos. Students may also obtain a FREE 2020 ERG APP on their phone to assist in answering the ERG questions.
